Best of Coney Quest: Parlors #5 thru #16

We kick off Best of Coney Quest week by unveiling the Chili Parlors/Restaurants ranked #5 thru #16. These are all cheese coneys which received an average rating of 3 stars or higher.

Not your typical Cincinnati cheese coney, but their delicious hot dog makes this coney among the best.

Come for the chili, stay for the gravy cheese fries. Don't forget to bring cash, as credit is not accepted.

Might not truly be "The Flavor of Cincinnati" but its a top notch coney that won't make us argue too much with that slogan.

Our 2nd favorite chili parlor on Glenway (aka "3-way Highway").

After being exposed to other parlors we might not make it "Skyline Time" every time we feel good and hungry. However it is still a very tasty coney and we'll still make many Skyline visits.

The newest Cincinnati chili parlor starts out on the right foot by making our Top 10.

Santorini's features the largest menu we found on the quest. Despite the many options, they don't view chili as an afterthought and do make a solid coney.

A popular breakfast spot in the heart of Northside also features tasty chili options.

Not one of the most well known parlors in town, but is one of the oldest.

Overshadowed by neighboring Dixie Chili, but is worth a visit as long as you don't mind smoky restaurants.

This was the chili parlor featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-In's and Dives.

If you like a heaping amount of cheese on your coney, chances are you will enjoy the coney here.

  1. I really enjoyed following this! Especially since I am out of town, but love hitting up these places when I am back visiting family. I have always been a NKY chili kinda guy (grew up there). I love the monmouth establishments and covington chili. I have never been to Price Hill, but it the next place on my list! Thanks guys!
